1. All guests must register at the office.
2. Check in/out is 3pm. If you might be checking in earlier than 3 or after office hours please call ahead of time so that we may assist you. We allow late check outs on Sundays and holiday weekends as long as there is no one else coming in on that site that day.
3. All campers and their guests, whether paid in full or not, MUST check in/ register prior to entering the campground area. All campers and guests must also check-out upon departure of the park to avoid additional camping charges. All day guest visitors are required to obtain a guest pass from the office and also depart the campground by 11pm. Parking permits are mandatory!
4. For Holiday Reservations:
* You will be charged the holiday/event camping rate for a 3 nights stay, regardless as to whether or not you stay for the duration.
* Deposits required for the lengthy stays and other situations at the management's discretion.
* Deposits are refundable only if reservations are cancelled NO LATER than 48 hours prior to the schedualed arrival.
* Deposits for NO-SHOWS are NON-REFUNDABLE.
5. Campers agree that the use of any equipment of facilities of Playland Leisure Park and family Campground by himself, members of family or guests is done so at their own risk, and the camper agrees to save harmless and indemnity PLP&FC by reason of said use.
6. report immediately to Mgt all injuries/accidents that require medical attention or that results in damage to you or someone else's property.
7. The camper shall be fully responsible for the care and conduct of their children, pets, & guests at all times. Only 1 family of 4, plus 1 unit and 2 vehicles allowed per site.Children 18 years and older are considered as adults. Guest vehicles should be parked in the main parking lot.
8. Quite time will be observed between the hours of 11pm & 8am.Please inform Mgt in the event of discourteous campers! All children(including teens) are required to be on their camp sites during quiet hours.
9. Observe the speed limit of 5 mph in the park at all times! Please watch our children at play.
10. No mini bikes, 4-wheelers, Atv's, or off-road motorcycles permitted in the campground.
11. Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblading, & scooters are not permitted in the rec hall/walkways.
12. Bicycle helmets are required for all children 12 & under. All Bicycles must be parked at dusk.
13. Electric and gas powered golf carts are permitted as long as the noise level is minimal. All golf carts must be approved by Mgt.
14. All golf cart drivers must be 16 yrs old, must have licence,and be insured. Copies of DL and proof of insurance must be on file at the camp office for each qualified driver. This must be adhered to according to campground's insurance policy. Campsite licensee will be held responsible for any damages/ negligence incurring by golf cart assoication with that campsite.
This will be strictly enforced! Failure to adhere to rules will not be tolerated!
15. To ensure everyone's safety, NO firearms,weapons, or fireworks permitted in the park. Only hand held sparklers are permitted under adult supervision (no throwing of them) and must be disposed of properly in coffee cans filled with water.
16. Pets are welcome! They must be on leases and under the owner's constant control and supervision. Pet must not be left in park unattended. Please clean up after your pet in all areas of campground. No aggressive/excessive barking pets allowed. Pets are not allowed inside campground buildings(bath house, rec hall,swimming pond, and playground).
17. Alcohol is permitted but restricted to your campsite. Alcohol is not permitted in open display. No carrying alcohol in open containers. Underage drinking Will NOT be tolerated! No alcohol in rec hall or brought to campground functions. Profanity, obscenities, intoxication, or rowdy & disorderly conduct will not be tolerated! Disorderly conduct or public drunkenness will result in immediate removal from the campground with out refund!
18. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings. A shirt and shoes are required in all buildings.
19. Defacing or damaging restroom facilities is a prosecutable offense. If you see it, please report it! If a restroom is found in poor condition and needs attention, please let us know. We Thank-you for helping us to maintain a clean facility.
20. PLease conserve water, electricity, and waste water. We use wells to supply water so, no washing vehicles allowed. Please try to conserve electricity by shutting off air conditioners and unnecessary lights before retiring for the night when not warranted. All grey water to be dumped in the dump station.
21. All fishing is free with no license required. All fishing is catch and release only! no putting fish on stringers or in buckets. Please return fish to pond from where it was caught. No adding fish from other bodies of water.
22. No moving of fire rings or picnic tables. One fire ring and one picnic table supplied per site. All campfires are required to be contained within the ring, attended to at all times, and must be extinguished prior to retiring for the night. Do not place non-burnable items in the ring (glass, metal,garbage, etc.) Children require adult supervision.
23. Out of County firewood is not permitted. Wood must come from Crawford County due to the Ash Bore Beetle infestation.
24. Please do not drive nails into live trees! No cutting trees or limbs and no altering of the landscaping. Inform Mgt if a tree or limb needs cut. Cost of tree is $600 per tree plus permanently removed!
25. No taking short cuts through campsites!! No digging holes! We are a family campground and our rules are enforced. Nudity, littering, stone throwing, destructive and dangerous behavior are strictly prohibited. Defacing trees, picnic tables, road signs,or any other camper other camper's properties prohibited and prosecutable offense. Adult supervision is required for all minors (under 21), please help us maintain a litter-free campground.
26. In the event of electrical problems, please inform management. DO NOT tamper with the electrical boxes.
27. Do Not Trespass on property bordering the campgrounds as well as NO parking on roadways.
28. Swimiming hours and rules are posted and must be followed. Young children are not permitted in the swimming pond, playground, fishing pond, store or game room without parental supervision at all times.
29. Camper's guests will be charged $4 visitor's fee during regular weekdays or weekends. There is a $5 fee for holiday/events to defray costs. All guests must check-in and check-out prior to entering or leaving the campground. All visitors MUST be vacated from premise by 11pm.
30. Under NO circumstance is there to be more than one unit on a campsite, including tents. Only tents for your dependant children are permitted. Extra units or tents will be discharged accordingly.
31. Campers shall not cut down or remove trees, shrubbery,bushes, or other vegetation from anywhere from PLP&FC unless authorized by Mgt. Chainsaws are strictly prohibited! Please use rubber tie strips to fasten lights to trees.
32. Garbage should be put in dumpsters provided by PLP&FC. Please do not bring garbage from home to dispose of it in out dumpsters! Dumpsters are to be used for day to day garbage and not to dispose of old grills,metal,wood of any kind or carpet,etc.
33. Campers shall not play loud music, tv, or radio. Loud singing, shouting, ot talking that can be heard by other campers in PLP&FC is not permitted. Parties large enough to interfere with other individual's privacy are not acceptable- special facilities such as the rec hall can be provided if coordinated in advance.
34.Hours for recreation hall and store will be posted on the building itself. The Comfort Station and Laundry facilities are available 24 hours a day. Please do not adjust the lighting timers/sensors in any of the buildings.
35. Absolutely NO swing sets, trampolines,etc, allowed on your site due to liability insurance restrictions.
36. Mgt reserves the right to revoke camping privileges for the infraction of campground rules without refund. Mgt also assumes no responsibility for safety of guests & reserves the right to evict for disobeying the rules, PLP&FC is privately owned & if damages occur or if you are in violation of any or all of the above rules & regulations, we reserve the right to collect additional fees for damages, repairs, and replacement. Also, we reserve the right to have the registered camper, their family, and their guests removed from the campground immediately without any refund.
